Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar has revealed actor Tiger Shroff will star in the sequel to his 2012 hit college drama 'Student of the Year'.
While Johar directed the first film besides co-producing it, the sequel will be helmed by Punit Malhotra of 'I Hate Luv Storys'.
"It's OFFICIAL... Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 (SOTY2) with Tiger Shroff @iTIGERSHROFF," tweeted Johar, who will produce the movie under his Dharma Productions. Expressing his happiness, Tiger tweeted, "Wound up and charged sir! Yahooo!! @karanjohar @punitdmalhotra #StudentOfTheYear2."
